Iconic Canadian singer Celine Dion has shared a rare update on the Stiff Person Syndrome and revealed she is determined to return to the stage.

The world is hopeful for Celine Dion’s return to the stage as much as she is. The star announced that she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022 and shared that her doctors were working hard to find a cure. She made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she presented the “Album Of The Year” award won by Taylor Swift.

In a rare update shared on her Instagram page, Dion is seen with her three sons, René-Charles, and twins Nelson and Eddy. She wrote,

“Today, the world recognises International SPS Awareness Day. As many of you know, in the fall of 2022, I was diagnosed with SPS. Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible.”

“I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team, and all of you. I want to send my encouragement and support to all those around the world that have been affected by SPS. I want you to know you can do it! We can do it. Love Celine xx.”
