Former model and culinary star Chrissy Teigen approves of Meghan Markle’s jam.
You may have heard and seen all the celeb frenzy about Meghan Markle’s new jam. Taking to her Instagram page, TV personality Chrissy Teigen gave her stamp of approval to the jam. The culinary sensation showed her support for Meghan Markle’s latest venture, American Riviera Orchard, as she created a sandwich with it.
The South African reports that “Teigen’s sandwich masterpiece featured rustic bread slathered with salted butter. It was adorned with triple cream Brie, a hearty slice of bacon, and a generous dollop of Markle’s exclusive preserves.”
As Bob Marley’s “Jamming” played in the background, Teigen had so much fun with the jam as she shared that, “This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year!”
She also revealed that it “Took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend.”
However, according to a report by News.com.au, the jam has not been a success since it hit the market. The publication writes that “King Charles’ Highgrove Estate strawberry preserve, at more than $13 a jar, recently sold out. One baronet, the owner of an English Palladian mansion, in a comment to Daily Beast’s Tom Sykes, said,
“We sold seven pots on Wednesday. That’s six more than a usual weekday. It was quite extraordinary. A rising tide lifts all boats, I suppose.”
