Famous producer and businessman Chicco Twala has confirmed he is Lamiez Holworthy’s biological father after pictures of them trended on social media.
Lamiez Holworthy has risen to be one of the most sought-after and talked-about DJs in the country. She is married to one of SA Hip Hop’s most acclaimed rappers Khuli Chana. However, the DJ has managed to keep details of her life private.
She and her husband, Khuli Chana, recently christened their son and welcomed close family and friends to celebrate with them. She shared photos of the beautiful event, and one went viral. It was a photo of her with her rumoured biological father, Chicco Twala.
According to a report by Zimoja, Twala confirmed that Lamiez is his daughter but said he wanted to keep it private. “Yes, Lamiez is my daughter, but I won’t go into details,” said Twala.
A source told the publication that Chicco and Lamiez’s mother, Imelda Klow, met as young people met through a mutual friend. The source said they made a conscious decision not to speak about it to the media because they’re both in the same industry.
Lamiez’s mother and manager, Imelda, declined to comment. She said, “You are now tapping into my intimate business. Let me tell you something, and you can quote me, f**k you!”
