DBongz Unveils Impressive Mural Of Riky Rick, Mzansi Praises Artwork (Photo)

It may have been a while since his death, but South African rapper Riky is still very much alive in the consciousness of those who love him and South Africans generally. At least this much became evident again recently when the muralist DBongz unveiled a mural of him under Newton Bridge.

Not only did he unveil the painting, he also took to Instagram with a shot of the same, giving the public an idea about what he had created. From the looks of it, it was an imposing creation that would easily attract attention even from afar.

In the caption to the post, the artist eulogised Riky Rick for the contributions he made to the advancement of the youth in South Africa, pointing out they might have a hard time healing from the tragedy of his death.

DBongz also gave insights into his past and how he suffered depression, too – the same mental turmoil that drove Riky Rick to suicide last year. The songster had hung himself in his studio, which wasn’t far away from home.

it was a tragedy South Africans had not seen coming, and many continue to mourn him long after his death memorialising him the way they see fit.
