South African disc jockey and media personality DJ Fresh has thrown his weight behind Teboho Mokoena, whom several brands have reportedly dropped for supporting Julius Malema.
Mr Malema, who leads the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a controversial collective that’s often described as militant, is one of the most divisive figures in South African politics.
Malema is a presidential hopeful this year and has been doing everything within his power to convince the electorate that he is the man to deliver them from the spectre of load shedding and other issues that have been plaguing South Africa.
Well, Mokoena endorsed Malema and it appeared that decision offended many brands. The details aren’t clear at this point, but Malema was once recorded calling for the killing of the “Boer.”
That clip is still being shared online today as evidence of why Malema shouldn’t be entrusted with the most powerful office in South Africa. Well, that didn’t stop Mokoena from supporting Malema.
Well, amid the “cancellation” that followed his endorsing Malema, Mokoena is getting massive support from DJ Fresh, who tweeted his support for the boycotting of Puma, which dropped Mokoena as ambassador. See the post below.
