Twitter boss Elon Musk has warned that the South African opposition party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), is pushing an agenda that could provoke white genocide in South Africa.
Race relation is a very touchy subject in South Africa, with its tangled history of apartheid and racial suppression. With the end of apartheid rule decades ago, many had expected a new era of healing and brotherhood. But it appears that has not been accomplished just yet.
At least, that was what a recent tweet by Benny Johnson indicated. Johnson had shared a clip of EFF members in which they were allegedly chanting “Kill the Boer (Whites).” EFF leader Julius Malema is seen to be in the same video. In fact, he seemed to be leading the chorus.
That was the clip Elon Musk responded to. He accused the EFF of openly calling for genocide against whites in South Africa. To make sure his message reaches the authorities, he mentioned the current President, Cyril Ramaphosa, and asked him why he has not said anything about the EFF video. You can check it out below.
