A traditional healer embracing Christ is the sort of news that most Christians would love to hear. Well, they are certainly in the middle of that news right now, thanks in part to the salvation story of popular sangoma Gogo Skhotheni.
In a move that provoked great excitement in Christian circles, the former traditional healer had informed the world of her salvation experience, noting in a series of posts on her Instagram Story that she has given her life to Christ.
Beyond that, she noted that God is her salvation and there is power in God’s Word to break every chain. Since initially posting about her newfound faith as a born-again Christian, she has posted other words affirming her faith in Christ. You can check out one of her posts below.
Her move into the Christian faith comes amid similar moves by other notable celebrities who didn’t appear to be too keen about the things of God previously or had identified as sangomas.
One such notable person is Boity. She has returned to church and seems on the path to beginning a new relationship with God. This was long after identifying as a sangoma alongside her mother, who must have introduced her to the field.
