Junior Khanye Unimpressed With Kaizer Chiefs’ New Signings

Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye is unimpressed with the recent signings by the club, and he has shared his thoughts on who and who the club should have signed instead.

Amakhosi has signed seven new players so far, ahead of the 2023/ 2024 season, and more players might arrive anytime soon.

Among those who have joined Amakhosi are midfielders Edson Castillo, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Tebogo Potsane and Pule Mmodi and defenders Given Msimango and Thatayaone Dilthokwe.

These additions have not moved Junior Khanye one bit and he made that clear in a chat with Sowetan Live. According to the former midfielder, “Two years ago, Mdantsane should have come to Chiefs because he and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo are similar players.”

He also made it clear that Msimango is no better than the previous defender Njabulo Ngcobo. He also believed that although Chivaviro did well for Marumo Gallants, Mayo would have been a better alternative to him.

On Ditlhokwe, he noted the player should be given a chance, having done well at SuperSport alongside Thulani Hlatshwayo.

Anyway, it is one thing to share his thoughts about what he thought was best and should have been done. And it is a different ball game to see the same implemented in the club.
