With “Joker: Folie à Deux”, viewers get to meet both old and new blood. For one, Joaquin Phoenix will reprise his role as the comic villain. If you are a big fan of Joaquin Phoenix, then expect another round of immersive entertainment.
Fans can also look forward to Lady Gaga. Yeah, while she is mostly famous as a singer, film is another universe of great interest to her and one in which she has shown some sinews as well.
In “Joker: Folie à Deux”, she will be illuminating her acting chops for fans to see. She plays the role of Harley Quinn, a mental patient. This characterisation actually veers from the comic book, where Quinn is a therapist.
Either way, the producers know what they are doing and Lady Gaga herself has no objection to the role for which she was cast.
