Late broadcaster Mark Pilgrim’s fiancée Adrienne Watkins has been admitted to the hospital a year after his demise.
About a year ago, South Africans were hit with news of famous broadcaster Mark Pilgrim’s passing after a battle with cancer. Pilgrim used to share photos of himself in the hospital while he updated fans on his battle with cancer.
According to recent reports, his fiancée, Adrienne Watkins, has recently been admitted to the hospital. Watkins shared a similar post to that of his late fiance. She was seen in a hospital gown, and she wrote in the captions,
“Back in hospital to get all the heavy metal removed from my ankle. So grateful this is behind me.”
She also wrote, “Back on crutches and pumping my knee scooter with a special teddy from my beautiful nieces to keep me safe for the next while till I can walk again.”
The post made her followers remember the late Pilgrim, who died at 53. The couple was reported to have dated for three years before he passed. Remembering him, Watkins wrote,
“All I can think about is that a year ago, today would have been our last night together. The last night, I could hold your hand in mine and hold you close, knowing that no matter what happened everything would be ok cos we had each other.”
