There is nothing as beautiful as being married to a spouse who loves you so much and continues to remember you long after you are dead. If South African actor Menzi Ngubane could see from there dead, he would certainly be pleased with the knowledge that he is alive in the consciousness of his wife.
It’s been three years since Menzi Ngubane died, at which point some spouses would have forgotten and moved on with their lives. But not his widow.
In a post on Instagram, his widow had [aid tribute to his memory. She recalled their last conversation over the phone when he told her that he was tired and that they should speak in the morning (when he supposedly would have been rested).
Only, that morning never came. Or better still, it came with tragedy. On the morning of 13 March 2021, Menzi Ngubane died, leaving his wife in a state of shock, mourning. It is said that he suffered a stroke that morning and died.
He is dead, but certainly not forgotten. At the rate his wife Sikelelwa Ngubane has been memorializing him, it is clear that the late actor has been and will remain in her consciousness for a long time to come.
