White folks joining the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) is not something one sees or hears every day, so it is of great interest to the public when news breaks that some whites have joined the red collective.
For context, Malema has been recorded on video calling out “Kill the Boer” – which is interpreted as a genocidal call to kill all the whites of South Africa. The clip is over a year old but pops online sporadically as people try to steer others away from the EFF and from voting for Malema, who nurses presidential ambitions.
In a recent post on X, the publication Rapport shared the story of Yvette Montalbano, a white lady from Sunward Park in Boksburg, who recently joined the EFF. She noted in the video that she will be voting for the EFF because she believes the party can give her and her children the best future.

Many were shocked by the white lady joining the EFF given Malema’s anted=cedents. Some even wanted her that she is committing suicide.
