Nandi Madida deletes her “Black Is King” tweet after sharing in the fun.
Mzansi star, Nandi Madida was on top on the world when Beyonce’s re-imagined Lion King film, “Black Is King” was released. Nandi who starred as the adult human version of Nala alongside Nyanyiso Dzedze who played Simba was praised for her performance and feature in the film.
It seems not many have forgotten about it because she recently revealed that a couple of kids now see her as Nala. In a tweet shared recently, she revealed she went to drop her first child, Shaka off at school when a couple of his toddler school friends referred to her as Nala. She also stated that it was the power of Disney.
However, the tweet did not get the kind of feed back she expected. The talented actress quickly trended alongside her “Black Is King” character. A lot of people laughed off her claims that a couple of toddlers would understand the confusing dynamic of the film and realize she had played “Nala”.
Nandi seemed to be enjoying the fun for a bit, then, hours later, she deleted the tweet. Well, we will never really know if she’s being honest.
