Nkululeko Masuku Wows Britain’s Got Talent Judges

South African tenor Nkululeko Masuku wowed Britain’s Got Talent judges with his incredible singing talent.

Everyday, people from South Africa make us proud to be citizens. Nkululeko Masuku recently shocked the world with his incredible voice on a recent episode of Britain’s Got Talent.

Masuku reportedly lives in London and started his singing career in South Africa. He made his professional debut in Cape Town as Crabman in a production of Porgy and Bess.

According to Classic FM, the 33-year-old tenor was revealed as a contestant in the 17th season of the hit show, “Britain’s Got Talent” and he wowed the judges. He took the stage, introduced himself and beautifully sang along to the orchestral introduction of the Italian song ‘Caruso.’

Everyone including Simon Cowell was impressed. Amanda Holden said,

“Hands down, in the 17 years that we’ve been doing Britain’s Got Talent, you are by far the best opera singer we have ever had.”

Simon Cowell responded, “That was wonderful… so heartfelt and so powerful. You deserve this break. You really, really do,”

He also got a resounding “yes” from the judges and advanced to the next semi-final round of the competition. Masuku said, “I almost cried! I had to contain myself, like – you can’t be crying on television!.” The video of his performance has already gotten over 1.5 million views on YouTube.
