South African music is evolving, and it is beautiful to observe how this evolution is being celebrated around the world. Well, something of that sort played out recently, as Apple Music honoured some notable females with exclusive visionary mixes.
Yeah, it’s all about the ladies. And the list of creators shows notable names. They include the singer, disc jockey and entrepreneur DJ Zinhle; the writer and performer Sio; DJ and media personality Ms Cosmo; the DJ and model Pona Colada; and DJ Rarri.
Each week, Apple Music will feature a mix created by each of these musicians, giving listeners an avenue to lap up multifarious experiences on the same platform while still keeping sight of some of their DJ faves. That seems like a win for everyone. You can see the ladies in the mix below.
