Palesa Madisakwane, the only known baby mama of South Africa’s reality show judge Somizi Mhlongo, would happily tell you that she has found the light – moved from the orbit of traditional healing (sangoma) into the world of Christ Jesus.
The hosts of heaven would be proud, just as the ancestor would be shaking their heads and going like, “Mtcheeeeeeew.” Lol.
Anyway, Palesa herself announced that she had left ancestral worship for Christ. She did that in a dramatic way with a post on her official Instagram page. In the clip she shared, she could be seen tearing a piece of clothing associated with traditional worship – apparently what she had used during her time as a traditional healer (sangoma).
She tore up the clothing with a pair of scissors. In the caption to her post, she recognised, multiple times, that there is power in the name of Jesus and that that power can break every chain. Her post has been liked over 2k times, with some South Africans seemingly amused by it all.
Some were happy to have her join the Christian fold though, as you can see from the post below.
