Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Sam Asghari, is alleged to have name-dropped his estranged wife for a photo with Brad Pitt.
According to a report by The U.S. Sun, Pitt was on a low-key date with girlfriend Ines de Ramon when he ran into his ex-wife Angelina’s brother and father.
The publication reports that it happened inside the show at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills on Friday for an exhibition by Bennett Miller. The iconic actor was seen laughing and joking with a pal while standing a few feet from his estranged in-laws.
“Plenty of people noticed how awkward it was that Brad was in the same room as Ange’s family, and it’s not a big space,” said an eyewitness.
“I’m told James was amicable and acknowledged Brad, but I didn’t see them talking; they were mostly stood apart for the duration of the event speaking with friends.”
The source said Sam asked for a selfie, “Britney Spears’ ex Sam Asghari was also there and went up and asked for a selfie with Brad, mentioning how much the singer loved him. He then switched sides and went over and was seen chatting to James and Jon for a while.” He later shared the selfie on Instagram.
