South African socialite and businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize has spoken about the recent robbery that took place at her mansion, clarifying that while there was indeed a robbery incident in the estate, it wasn’t at her wing of it.
Writing about the incident, which made headlines in South Africa recently, the flamboyant businesswoman noted that there was actually no break-in at her house, but that the incident took place at the southern part of the mansion, which is occupied by her ex-husband, Sbu Mpisane.
She stays in the northern part and there was no robbery incident at her end. She thanked those who had shown concern for her welfare when the news of the robbery incident broke, noting she was separated from her husband and the incident didn’t happen at her side of the mansion.
The businesswoman had elicited mixed reactions after it emerged that she party hard at an all-white party with other celebs on the day of the robbery. This charmed many South Africans, who tweeted how good it is to be rich.
Her clarification must have put things into perspective. The robbery had nothing to do with her directly.
Shauwn split from Sbu, a retired police officer, over his consistent cheating on her with other women.
