Showmax Docuseries: Dr Nandipha’s Brother Nkosinathi On Confronting “Facebook Rapist” Thabo Bester

The revelations continue in the case against convicted felon Thabo Bester, as a brother to his girlfriend Nandipha shares his experience about confronting Bester, who is now infamous as “The Facebook Rapist.”

Nkosinathi “Nathi” Sekeleni, the elder brother to Nandipha, shared his thoughts on his plans to unmask Thabo Bester, whose crime spree spanned about a decade, culminating in his eventual arrest in Arusha, Tanzania, as he tried to cross to Kenya with his girlfriend.

According to Nkosinathi, speaking on the first instalment of the Showmax docuseries “Tracking Thabo Bester,” he had his suspicions about meeting Bester, a murderer and a fraudster who at some point posed as TK Nkwana, a businessman from New York.

Nkosinathi exposed Nandipha for dating Thabo Bester as far back as 2021, but it didn’t get much attention until about a year later.

Thabo Bester, who was serving a life sentence for murder and rape, escaped from prison after faking his death there in a fire. Only, a body was placed in his cell while he fled.

He lived with Nandipha until he made the mistake of going shopping with her at SPAR, where he was spotted and an alarm raised that he wasn’t dead in the fire after all but escaped from jail. The lovers fled their opulent home but were arrested in Tanzania.
