The late rapper’s father Tony Forbes gave a semblance of an insight into the family’s reality recently. He let the world know his son’s murder case is affecting the family.
In case you missed it, a couple of arrests have been made in relation to AKA’s assassination. five of the accused appeared in court, with three of them filing their bail applications. The hearing is expected to continue next Monday.
The trial has impacted his life in a way he probably didn’t expect. By his own account, he lives in Cape Town and has to get up early to travel in order to attend the trial. He admitted the whole process is tiring, but it is worth it.
AKA was shot dead on February 10 alongside his former manager Tibz. The video of him slumping to the ground after being shot at point-blank range provokes agony in many of his fans and admirers to this day.
