The 27th edition of The Webby Awards came and it turned out a big win for South African comedian and reality show host Trevor Noah, as he, alongside The Daily Show, a platform with which he was previously associated, won big.
Trevor and the show clinched a total of seven awards, easily one of the biggest hauls at the event.
Trevor Noah had a great time as host of The Daily Show. He left almost seven months ago, citing the desire to look into other aspects of life. And he has been doing just that. But then, his days at the show are still fresh in the memories of many around the world.
At least his winning The Webby even when he is no longer a host shows that he made a great impact there before he left.
