Tweeps Debate Tyla’s 600 Million Spotify Streams

There is never a shortage of opinion about streaming numbers. High or low, people will always talk, with opinions ranging from the negative to the positive.

Of course, it is patently negative when people are accused of buying streaming numbers or using streaming farms to boost their numbers.

Interstingly, but famous and obscure musicians are not immune to this criticism. Right now, South African singer Tyla is being accused of boosting her Spotify streaming stats.

In case you missed it, the Grammy-winning singer recently celebrated 600 million streams on Spotify. By any standards, that’s an impressive stat and Tyla herself is proud of it.

The only thing is that there are those who are unimpressed with the number, believing that it is padded and those not reflect reality.

popular gossip page MDN News shared the latest milestone while also noting she got an additional 100 million streams in one month. You can check out the post below.

A look through the comments to the post shows that while some people were impressed with her stats and praised her for the same, some were unimpressed, claiming that most of the streaming numbers were bought.

There was no evidence to support that claim, however.
