Shona Ferguson and Connie had one of the best relationships and marriages Mzansi had ever seen, and many South Africans looked up to them for couple goals. Ironically, Shona was Connie’s second husband. She’d earlier married and divorced an actor.
Anyway, in a post on her verified Instagram channel, Connie had shared the memorable moment Shona gave a speech for her birthday. And it remains ever fresh. Mzansi thronged the comment section of the post to celebrate the love the couple shared and wish the movie producer the best going forward.
Shona tragically died last July (30th) from complications resulting from the coronavirus. The industry has not have been the same without him. For Connie, the strength to plod on amid the storm and uncertainty is right there in the Bible. She’s been a source of healing to others, even in her grief.
