These are not the best of times for celebrated South African actor SK Khoza, who ran afoul of the law in the United Kingdom recently.
He had visited the country on a visitor’s visa, which prevents him from taking any form of paid employment – you might say job – while in the country.
It is reported that he violated the provisions of his visitor’s visa. And now he has to face the consequences. It is said that he was wanted by the British authorities but he quietly found his way back to South Africa.
Anyway, a verdict has been reached regarding his visitor’s visa violation: He stands banned from entering the United Kingdom for the next five years.
Details about the ban from visiting the country were given in a circular from the British Home Office. He was also told that he has the right to appeal the ban and was pointed to a link to a website where he could lodge an appeal. You can check it out below.

It is unclear if and when he would appeal. SK Khoza is one of the notable names in South African film, but he angered a lot of South Africans for this infraction, with some accusing him of causing problems for other South Africans through his visa policy violation.
