The veteran broadcaster has spoken out for the first time since the news of her affliction was announced by her family, indicating she was immensely touched by the show of support from people around the world.
Her family recently went to town with the news of her dementia, while also noting she was receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital. The affliction was said to have started last year but it was only announced by her family this year.
In part, speaking to people, she stated: “I want to say I have immense gratitude for the love and kind words I have received after sharing my diagnosis of Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).”
Well, those words of hers have even stoked the level of support she is getting from members of the public.
Dementia is a serious affliction, and those suffering from it are best supervised and watched. Hopefully, for Wendy Williams, soon enough she will be free from her afflictions.
