Afrotainment dancer Zodwa Wabantu might have her eyes open for profit in the time of pandemic but this has in no way deaden her humanity. She’s making eggs affordable to the poor.
The controversial socialite and dancer had delved into the egg and chicken business at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, following in the footsteps of her boss DJ Tira, who owns Makoya Chickens.
Since her chicken adventure began, she has been receiving support from members of the public as well as celebs, including Kelly Khumalo.
In a recent Instagram post, Zodwa Wabantu informed her fans that she has just purchased a container for her egg business. With the container, she wouldn’t have to rent space. Thus she would be able to decrease the cost of her eggs.
She made it know that whatever her customers have in hand – even if it’s just R5 – they should be able to afford her eggs. Her post provoked commendation from her fans.
