The much-anticipated fourth season of 'The Real Housewives of Durban' is set to premiere next month, introducing three dynamic new members to its cast.

Showmax has officially announced the return of ‘The Real Housewives of Durban’ for its fourth season, marking it as the most enduring installment in the African franchise.

This season will feature a mix of original and new cast members. Sam Kelly, the executive producer, expressed excitement about the fresh energy the new cast members will bring to the show.

Showmax’s announcement ends the rumors, confirming the return of the Real Housewives of Durban for its fourth season.

The series, now the longest-standing in the African Real Housewives franchise, will see the return of familiar faces like Nonku Williams, Sorisha Naidoo, Jojo Robinson, Maria Valaskatzis, and Slee Ndlovu. Annie Mthembu, an original cast member, is expected to make a late-season appearance, while Londie London from season 2 reportedly declined to return.

The show’s fourth season, premiering on Friday, 9 February, welcomes Ameigh Sibahle Thompson, Nqobile ‘Angel’ Ndlela, and Zama Ngcobo to its lineup.

“The upcoming season of the Real Housewives of Durban promises to be grander and more engaging. We’re bringing back the beloved original cast and introducing three new dynamic women who will add a fresh perspective to the series,” said Sam Kelly of Let It Rain Films.

“We’ve always strived to present relatable stories that resonate with our audience. The authenticity of these women’s experiences – their personal narratives, achievements, and challenges – is what endears them to viewers.”

INTRODUCING THE NEW CAST MEMBERS:

Ameigh Sibahle Thompson

Thompson, a maritime graduate working in the pharmaceutical sector and a mother of two, is currently on a break. She founded the Fundisiwe Foundation in memory of her late mother.

“I joined the Real Housewives of Durban to embrace new experiences and challenge myself. I see this as an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and explore new possibilities,” she shared.

Nqobile ‘Angel’ Ndlela

Hailing from Howick, Ndlela now resides in Umhlanga. She’s a versatile entrepreneur with ventures in various sectors, including construction and fashion design. At 29, she’s the youngest in the cast and is also pursuing a career in psychology, holding an honours degree in the field.

“I’m excited to introduce myself to the world through the Real Housewives of Durban. It’s a platform with a significant following, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity,” Ndlela remarked, expressing her eagerness to share her journey into marriage and motherhood.

Zama Ngcobo

A seasoned radio and TV personality, Ngcobo joined the show for the thrill of the challenge.

“Having had a successful career in broadcasting, reality TV was the one area I hadn’t explored. Despite warnings about reality TV, I felt it was a natural progression for me to diversify my career,” Ngcobo explained.
