DJ Drama – 350 Ft. Rick Ross, Westside Gunn & Lule

“350” is the latest offering from the world-famous disk jockey “DJ Drama” and he didn’t do this one alone, he links up with hip-hop heavyweights Rick Ross, Westside Gunn, and Lule to pull this one off.

Even though he has been dragged into talks because of his on-going dispute with Philly rapper, Lil Uzi Vert,  it’s been exhausting for him to mentor the talent signed to his Generation Now  imprint which is an affiliation with Atlantic Records. One of his recently released song titled “Nasty” fwhich features the talented Moneybagg Yo and PnB Rock has turn out to be extremely popular at the same time his 2016 hit single “Wishing” which featured pop star Chris Brown, Skeme, and LyQuin maxed at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart. Going by the enlisted artists on “350”, there are possibilities and chance to exceed his previous record.

Production credits for the track goes to Lyle Leduff and Sean Momberger who have taken the unusual route for the latest release by using a slower paced instrumental than what we would normally expect from DJ Drama.

“350” is recorded on captivating harp chords, flawlessly blended beat sequencing that isn’t too overwhelming, and bassline that is not overly aggressive enabling the punch-lines to merge perfectly with the artists vocal rhythm.

Atlanta-based singer Lule starts off the song with solidly autotuned chorus then Rick Ross comes in with his typical Miami extravagant bars. Westside Gunn finished up by using his infamous Buffalo delivery. Remarkably, the three artists Westside Gunn and Rick Ross working together blends smoothly.

He hasn’t formally revealed it yet, but with the look of things, DJ Drama might be preparing to drop “Quality Street Music 3”, the follow-up to the first and second albums released in 2012 and 2016 respectively.

“350” comes with a music video, listen and watch below:
