Godfada Yekasi is here and he asserts his authority in a new song dubbed “Noma Bangathini,” with Mafeni as the sole guest.
“Noma Bangathini” bears hints of faith. Here you find two artists standing firm on what they believe in, singing their souls away and charming the listener all the way.
The song follows the release, by Godfada Yekasi, of “Kasifonia Love” with Lastee, one of the hip hop aces in South African music. Compared to the lead singer’s last release, however, we’re all for his “Noma Bangathini” tune.
The reason for this should be obvious near instantly. The self-assurance in the delivery, as well as the message of the song itself, draws you in again and again. And although one can’t tell why Mafeni was picked as a guest artist, it is obvious the singer did well on the beat.
“Noma Bangathini” is not exactly a weekend jam, so you can count on it to keep you entertained beyond this week.
