South African music producer Mr Brown opens the gates to musical energy with a new body of work titled “Isango” EP, which you can stream here on UbeToo, Mzansi’s premier music hub.
It’s promise made and fulfilled for the songster, who had earlier informed fans about what was one the way. Has the wait been worth it? We would day yes in that, taken together, the compilation is arresting.
In just six tracks, Mr. Brown managed to bring different stories and experiences into one fine tapestry that will snap attention any day. Makhadzi, Nobantu Vilakazi, Josiah De Disciple and Zuma were the guest who assisted Mr. Brown on this project.
One cannot begrudge him his choices because those he worked with actually delivered. The result is a project worth the wait, a project you should be pleased to check out and tell others about as well.
On the strength of this body of work, it is tempting to want to look out for more from Mr Brown. He’s a voice worth hearing. Well, until another drop, it’s “Isango” all the way. You shouldn’t be surprised if that compilation carries you well into the weekend. Now that’s what fine works are made of.
