Dance music producer SGVO returns to UbeToo with a new compilation dubbed “Vo” album, ensuring fans have something to help themselves to this Friday and been the weekend.
Dance music holds an important spot in the world of South African music, and there are some musicians who appear unmoved by amapiano’s arrogant match and continue in their dance music odyssey. SGVO is easily one of them.
The songster’s latest project begins with an eponymous song and ends with “Amplified Zone 2.0” Between those are “Xola,” “Rekere 3 Steps” and several others. In all the project bears 13 tracks. There is more to this project a symbolism that is either accidental or deliberate: It was also released on 13th October.
What’s with the number 13? We cannot say and we wouldn’t even want to dwell much on that. But we readily tell you that this album is not just long, but it is also worth the playtime.
