2024 Elections: Bonang Reacts To Fan Calling Her A Coward

South African entrepreneur and socialite Bonang Matheba took a subtle swipe at the ruling African National Congress recently after a fan called her out as a coward.

It’s 2024, the year of South Africa’s national elections, with the post of president up for grabs by competing political parties. But who should win the election this year and become South Africa’s president?

Should the incumbent, Cyril Ramaphosa, be retained? Or should a new leader emerge because the incumbent has not lived up to expectations so far? Bonang is one of those who are interested in South Africa getting a good government that performs.

So she is encouraging her compatriots not to sleep on this opportunity to elect a government they deserve. But she has not mentioned which party the people should vote for.

A fan unimpressed with her seeming reluctance to name a party that the people should vote for called her out as a coward on X, formerly Twitter.

It turned out Bonang didn’t take things personally. Instead, she indirectly took a swipe at the ANC, pointing out that South Africa has NO electricity. She also made it clear that calling her names doesn’t change anything.
