SA Hip Hop star A-Reece has revealed who the Big 3 in African Rap are.
The back-and-forth between Kendrick Lamar, Drake and J Cole has been crazy. Cole recently dropped the project “Might Delete Later” and rap fans have been discussing it. It also led Ghanaian rapper, Manifest to pose a question about who the Big 3 in Africa are.
He wrote on Facebook,
“The Big 3 of African rap…”
The post got a reaction from A-Reece who replied, “More like Big 2,” alluding to himself and Manifest. The two previously collaborated on the joint “West Africa Time.”
Reece also recently showed gratitude to fans for the success of his Reece Effect Pretoria Concert. He called it the best night of his life. And wrote on his Instagram story,
“I wouldn’t have been able to pull the show off by myself. Everyone from the venue, managers, staff, talented management, my team, the media outlets, the host, all the artists that came through, the band, the VFX artist and you the supporters/investors played a significant role in making the ‘Reece Effect’ a successful show and a night to remember.”
