A$AP Rocky snapped attention again. This time, it isn’t because of allegedly cheating on his girlfriend Rihanna but for calling out her ex, the singer Chris Brown, in a new song.
In DMB (“DAT$ MAH B!*$H”), the songster had indirectly called out Chris Brown for beating Rihanna years ago while in his car, an assault for which he was handed five years probation.
In his song, Rocky noted he doesn’t beat his lady. He needs her. It was a barely veiled reference to Breezy punching Riri in the face and splitting her lips back in 2009.
Although Chris Brown would admit later that his action made him feel like a monster, it was clear from Rocky’s song that he wasn’t prepared to let his compatriot go free just yet.
In the music video of the song, which you can check out below, Rocky and Riri can be seen getting married, which is significant because the two are expecting their first child together.
The release of the music video follows Rocky’s performance over the weekend and Riri cheering him on from the stands.
Before that time, Rocky had allegedly cheated on her and Rumours of a breakup had swirled around the internet. But they remain together.
