AKA Murder Suspect Claims the Police Are Targeting His Family

Mzansi reacts as suspect in AKA’s murder Lindani Ndimande claims the police are after his family.

Mzansi has been shocked by recent revelation made by a suspect in AKA’s murder. According to reports, the five suspects involved in the murder recently appeared at the Durban Magistrates Court for their bail hearing, during which Lindani Ndimande, one of the five made claims against the police.

EWN reports that Ndimande, a 35-year-old taxi boss and bodyguard asked the state to prove his involvement in the murder. In his affidavit, he accused the police of forcing him to confess to the murders during an intense interrogation. He said,

“I challenge the State for a motive as to why I would have wanted to kill the deceased. In conclusion, I request this court to grant me bail as it deems fit.”

Ndimande also made claims against top police officials saying that they have a vendetta against his family. He said his two brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, who were also arrested in Eswatini as they fled to safety, were as a result of that vendetta.

He further accused  the National Intervention Unit (NIU) of being an enemy of his family. Mzansi has reacted to the claims.
