Big Zulu’s Inkabi Nation Music Concert Didn’t Go As Planned

There are reports that Big Zulu’s Inkabi Nation concert did not happen as planned.

One of the most disappointing things to happen to an artist or a label is to plan and invest so much into a concert, and it doesn’t end up how you envisioned it. Big Zulu’s Inkabi Nation concert reportedly hit a snag due to low ticket sales.

We all know how busy the first weekend of July is in Durban every year. This year, Facts Durban Rocks and Cotton Fest happened simultaneously, and people had a great time. Big Zulu’s Inkabi Nation concert, which was scheduled to happen there, was not much of a success.

A source for Zimoja explained what went down, saying, “It was a busy weekend people were spoilt for options. People plan their lives around Durban July and pre-parties that are happening for the July weekend, not music concerts,”

“Durban crowd is hard to please, I don’t think they relate to the likes of Makhadzi as we do around Gauteng and Limpopo, they still love Gqom maybe if they had mixed artists.”
