South African singer Vusi Nova had a bittersweet experience of sorts recently when he celebrated one of his friends while also mourning another.
Vusi Nova, like many other South Africans, was in mourning for Zahara following her tragic death on December 11. She had been rushed to the hospital, allegedly following issues with her liver. Unfortunately did not survive it. She passed away at the hospital.
Somizi was among those who mourned the singer. He apologised for having made fun of her in the past while also sharing lessons from her death, as they relate to existence. He has had a party that was probably in the works before Zahara took ill and died.
The party went on, with Vusi Nova as one of the performers. Vusi couldn’t help but think about the mixed bag that was the week – He was mourning one friend whom he would rather call a sister, as well as celebrating a close friend who had often been mistaken for his gay lover in the past.
