Black Motion’s Thabo Smol Is Building A Studio for Soshanguve Orphanage

Black Motion star Thabo Smol is building a studio for the Soshanguve orphanage with the help of the Thabo Smol Foundation.

It is always great to see celebrities giving back as much as they get. Black Motion’s Thabo Smol plans to touch lives through his foundation. He shared plans to build a studio for the Soshanguve Orphanage, where he will teach them about music.

He said, “We plan to be very involved in the work that happens at the studio and help release albums with the kids.”

He said about the plans, “We went to Jehova Jirah Orphanage in Soshanguve. We gave them a helping hand and planted some trees during the holiday season. We are also in the process of building them a studio.”

Thabo revealed he bonded with the kids and tried to understand their needs when he paid them a visit. “We don’t want to just do things for the sake of it and just take pictures, then leave. The kids really want to be involved in the arts. We wanted to provide for them,” he said.

Today, Thabo is hosting a fundraising event for people to pledge towards the building of the studio and the 1000 Meropa challenge.

“There are about 100/150 kids at the orphanage. We plan to be very involved in the work that happens at the studio and help to release albums with the kids.”
