Burna Boy Performs At FNB Stadium Next Year

Over a little drama over his not performing as scheduled in South Africa, with some of those who facilitated the performance now fighting and accusing each other of fraud, it appears like Nigerian singer Burna Boy has made up his mind to return to South Africa in 2024.

The songster was to have performed this year, with everything scheduled. Along the line, it was announced that he would no longer be performing after all. The show was said to have been postponed indefinitely. Some people claimed at the time that the decision to postpone it stemmed from poor ticket sales.

Burna Boy denied the claim, however, recalling that over 100k South Africans had turned up at the airport to meet him the last time he was in the Rainbow Nation.

It appears the whole drama has been settled after all, with the Nigerian set to perform in 2024. According to multiple reports, his show is scheduled for February 24 next year. Local artists, including K.O. and Major Steeze, are also on the lineup to perform as well.

It wouldn’t be the Nigerian’s first performance in South Africa, though. He had performed there previously. In a couple of months, South Africans would have the opportunity to see him live again.
