‘Champions’ Fans Are Sad About Sello Maake KaNcube’s Character

Fans of the new hit show “Champions” are sad about Sello Maake KaNcube’s recent character development.

Viewers of the new show “Champions” were stunned by a recent update about one of the characters. The legendary actor Sello Maake KaNcube plays Washington Modise, and fans were sad to hear that the character was diagnosed with cancer.

They took to the X app and began questioning Sello’s stay on the show. They asked many questions about the player who turned into an entrepreneur. His onscreen daughter, Sne Modise (played by Joy-anne Reyneke), was also deeply saddened by the news of his health because of how close they were.

Viewers also wondered if his brother Philemon Modise (Tumisho Masha) would take over his business if he passed on. Everyone knew that so much would change if Washington Modise died. While Sne is currently the general manager of the club, her uncle Philemon, a greedy man, has always felt like people do not see his worth.

Fans have also shared how much they love the progress of the storyline. Influencer Jabu Macdonald, wrote,

“First week of #ChampionsMzansi done and dusted and so far I like the pace of the storyline. You can tell a lot is about to unfold since Washington discovered that his cancer is back. Sne might take over the family football club but her uncle feels like he deserves to run it instead and then there’s Sne and Sanele 😭😭😭😭I don’t not approve of that relationship because Sanele is playing Sne.”
