The scene was the recently inaugurated Creative Cultural and Industry Awards, and the actress was on the ground as one of the honorees. The winners cut across industries in South Africa’s creative and entertainment spaces.
On the occasion, Connie Chiume. who has distinguished herself in several flicks, was honoured with The Living Legend: Lifetime Award.
It was exciting to stand before all to receive her award. She accepted the award with gratitude, thanking Minister Zizi Kodwa and others instrumental in organising the award and celebrating her achievements in the industry.
