DBN Gogo, Kamo Mphela, Young Stunna, Busiswa and Sino Msolo Featured On The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack.

It’s a triumph for South African music as some of the country’s musicians make it to the soundtrack of the soaraway series: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The soundtrack credits for the project have just been released and show the Barbadian singer Rihanna at the top with her latest single, “Lift Me Up.” next on the list was, wait for it, some of Mzansi’s finest: DBN Gogo, Kamo Mphela, Young Stunna, Busiswa and Sino Msolo.

All of them were part of the song “Love and Loyalty (Believe),” which made the cut among the tracks used in the series.

Since the credits were released, South African Twitter has been in a frenzy, with many of the country’s tweeps congratulating their own for making the list. They are the only South African musicians on the tracklist, which you can check out below.

Zahara is a notable South African musician who might somehow still be remembered when some South Africans talk about the list. This is because many believe that Rihanna, in her “Lift Me Up” song, sounded so much like Zahara. On the strength of that observation, the “Loliwe” hitmaker had reached out to Bad Gal Riri for a collaboration.

Well, good times are here for DBN Gogo, Kamo Mphela, Young Stunna, Busiswa and Sino Msolo.
