There is a piece of good news for lovers of sports, especially cricket. Details about Cricket World Cup 2023 have been announced, and although it would not start right away, there is still palpable excitement in the air.

The event was to have started earlier this year, between February and March so to speak, but it had to be postponed further the year because of the coronavirus restrictions. But with things a little clearer now, the dates are definite and the world can converge for a thrilling sporting event.

With the new timeline in place – and unless things go horribly wrong again – the Cricket World Cup 2023 will begin on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, and run until the final on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

The Cricket 2023 World Cup schedule is yet to be finalised and the reason is simple. For one, the qualification matches for the world cup aren’t over yet and two slots are still open for teams to slug it out and qualify for the tourney.

West Indies, Scotland,  Netherlands and Zimbabwe Will slug it out with only two out of the four teams going to the World Cup.

The first match of the Cricket World Cup will hold on Tuesday, October 10.

The final will hold on Sunday, November 26.
