Famous actress and now-DJ Pearl Thusi rejoices as she announces her new gig with Gagasi FM.
We cannot deny the fact that Pearl Thusi is exceeding all expectations and making a way for herself as a DJ. The famous actress has gotten so much criticism since she announced that she became a DJ.
She once revealed that, many years ago, she battled the fear of what people would say when she finally made the switch. She also shared that she’s glad she did. The star made her debut performance as a DJ at the Makhelwane Festival in Soweto, Johannesburg. She received support from her famous friends DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai, and also from her daughter, Thando Mokoena.
Thusi even bagged her first international gig recently. Taking to social media, she announced that she would be creating mixes for Gagasi FM every Wednesday from 12 PM to 3 PM. She wrote,
“LIVESTREAM!!! Or tune in !!! So exciting!!! My very first RADIO MIX 😭😭😭🫶🏽🫶🏽💚💚💚 GOD IS SO GOOD!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹”
Her fans congratulated her in the comments and wished her many more wins. Some even stated that she was proving her haters wrong.
