DJ Tira On Course To Revive Big Nuz With Danger & Bhar – Album Drops In Spring

South African singer and record producer DJ Tira is on course to revive Big Nuz, a kwaito group that his record label, Afrotainment, used to manage. The group has lost two members so far, the most recent being Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo.

Mapintsha died on Christmas Eve last year following a minor stroke. It was one death many had not seen coming, especially after it was said that the stroke was just minor. His death struck a serious blow to the group which had already had multiple shots at revival.

Now, it appears the push to bring the group back to life is even stronger, as DJ Tira has reportedly called on the surviving member of the group, Danger, to link up with Bhar and revive the group. In fact, plans are said to be underway to release an album this spring.

You heard that right, there is going to be a reconstitution of the Durban-based group and it will be releasing a new project – a sterling attempt at revival. Hopefully, all goes well.

Of course, we will be here to share the album with you as soon as it is released. You are welcome to follow us right away and stay tuned for updates.
