South African rapper Gigi Lamyne is not one to keep quiet when she loves a work of art. She shows this side of herself now and then and has just done that again.
Trinidadian and American rapper Nicki Minaj’s recently released “Pink Friday 2” album resonated with the South African so much that she had to speak about it, noting how splendid the project is.
Taking to her official Instagram page, she informed the public that the album just dropped, pointing out the rapper’s greatness in the game while also making it known the American is her favourite – literally the greatest to ever it. Of particular note was her calling Nicki Minaj “mother.”
It was clear from her post that she rates the American highly and respects her so much as well. She tagged Nicki Minaj in the post, increasing the odds she saw it.
The post elicited mixed reactions from netizens, with some of them agreeing with Gigi outright and some pointing out that she appeared fawning in her post about her American counterpart.
Anyway, we are here for the music and think that a Gigi Lamaynse and Nicki Minaj collaboration would be great. How soon that happens, if at all, is left to time.
