Gone But Not Forgotten: AKA’s Mom Lynn Forbes Continues To Memorialize Him

Gone but not forgotten is one phrase used to describe people who actually made an impact in the lives of others and in the world generally when they are gone. This is the reality of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, who was murdered on February 10 last month.

Not only has the songster remained fresh in the memory of his fans, but he is also ever glowing in the memory of his mother, Lynn Forbes, as well. In a recent Instagram post, the businesswoman let the world into her feelings at the moment, noting that AKA’s physical absence makes her world feel depopulated.

In the clip she shared, she and AKA could be seen on the dance floor as they waltzed while some guests looked on. It was a beautiful scene that would certainly brighten the day and spirit of anyone. You can check out the clip below.

AKA was shot dead at point-blank range alongside his former manager Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane as he stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. His death was ruled an assassination. Although the police claim to be on top of the situation, his killers are yet to be unmasked, leading South Africans to accuse the SAPS of trying to bury the case.
