There is no end in sight in the drama between Ayanda Ncwane and the South African gospel group Abathandwa, which has accused her of not paying royalties for a song released while she was their manager.
The track “Ehhe Moya Wam” was released about 6 years ago. At the time, the group was signed to Ncwane Communications, a record label and management agency owned by Sfiso Ncwane, the late husband of Ayanda. He left the company to her at his death and she has been managing it ever since.
The company has been in the news sporadically for having one financial challenge to the other. It is also not the first time that the company has been dragged online by Abathandwa.
Anyway, this time, the group is claiming that despite the song “Ehhe Moya Wam” being a big success, they have not received any money from Ayanda as royalties. They also noted that she kept the money for herself when the song hit multiplatinum; she only gave them plaques.
Ayanda Ncwane owes us royalties – Abathandwa😳😳
The gospel group accuse Ayanda of exploiting them.
They also said after their song sold multi-platinum, Ayanda only gave them a plague for their hard work & kept the money for herself.

At the time of writing. Ayanda Ncwane had not responded to the group’s latest accusation. It will be interesting to see what her response will be and where the case will lead from there.
