Life must go on. That i the verdict of the living. The point? As long as there is life, there is hope, and people are best moving on and moving ahead and not allowing anything to hold them back or make them a prisoner of the past.
One lady who has seemingly embraced this reality is the South African gospel singer Winnie. She has just gotten married a second time after her first marriage collapsed. Her marriage to Makgokgo Makgopa was beautiful until it wasn’t.
Of course, as a gospel singer, she is bound to be a subject of great focus, with people trying to see whether her life actually aligns with what the Bible says and what she preaches in her music. Her getting divorced was a big shock to many, and it elected criticisms from some quarters.
Among those who criticised her were those stating that “God hates divorce.” And now that she has gotten married again, the conversation has taken a new turn, with friends and critics alike sharing their thoughts.
But Winnie has obviously made up her mind to be married again and factored in how people would react. So she obviously doesn’t care much about the criticisms.
