It was a wonderful moment for actress Halle Bailey recently as she was honoured by Glamour Magazine as GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year Awards 2023 Gen-Z Game-Changer.
It was an honour that she might not have seen coming but was grateful for anyway, something evident in her response to the win.
In her acceptance speech, she was gracious to point out that it was never a one-woman but that others had paved the way for her to come this far and win what she did. For this, of course, she’s grateful.
The actress looked elegant in her black and white peplum dress for the award. Her acceptance speech touched on several subjects, from her faith in God and her love for her sister Chloe, whom she described as a big pillar of support – “always there at those times.”
Her win came amid great public interest in her body and rumours that she is pregnant for her boyfriend and expecting a child with him soon. Those who have been observing her claim that she looks heavier than before and her stomach is also protruding.
If she is indeed pregnant, it will amount to a double win for her being the woman of the year and being a new mum as well.
